Meet Your Biggest Cheerleader
People-first leadership. Clear expectations. Real results.
Hi, I’m Shannon.
I became a leadership coach because I lived what so many leaders are quietly carrying.
I’ve spent the last decade inside corporate environments, some with strong leadership, some with mediocre, and some that pushed me way past my limits.
Because of this, I knew exactly how I wanted to show up as a leader. But what I didn’t have was the proper training to navigate what leadership truly entailed.
There was no roadmap for how to move from high performer to someone responsible for people, culture, and results. So I did what most leaders do… I figured it out as I went.
There were seasons I’d sit in my car before work, dreading the day. When my boss’s name lit up my phone, my stomach dropped. It usually meant another shift in priorities or a decision my team wouldn’t understand and that I’d be the one carrying it.
I tried to protect everyone. I avoided hard conversations. I tied my worth to performance. When something slipped, I took it personally.
It was exhausting.
The turning point came when a boundary was crossed. I realized I couldn’t keep leading from fear.
So I stopped saying yes to everything. I started pushing back. I advocated upward. I protected my team and myself.
And leadership changed.
Not because the pressure disappeared. But because I found my voice inside it.
I built clear systems. I led with trust. My teams delivered results without losing their culture. And I learned that steady leadership is possible even in the messy middle.
That’s why I do this work.
Middle managers deserve more than survival. They deserve tools and support, and they deserve to lead with authority without losing themselves in the process.
Because work shouldn’t be miserable.
And leadership should never cost you your voice.
